Event Overview
Join us at the 2025 CAMH Pow Wow presented by Shkaabe Makwa!
Everyone is welcome!
The theme of this year’s Pow Wow is Celebrating 25 Years of Walking Together for Indigenous Health and Wellness. In 2000, CAMH made its first organizational commitment to providing culturally affirming care for First Nations, Inuit and Métis patients and families with the launch of Aboriginal Services, led by a team of Indigenous social workers alongside Elder Vern Harper.
Let’s celebrate our progress while looking ahead at what we can achieve over the next 25 years.
A Pow Wow is a time to celebrate, dance, spend time together, and learn more about Indigenous cultures and traditions. Attendees can expect music, dancing, food, and Indigenous-owned vendors.
The CAMH Pow Wow is free to attend and everybody (staff, patients, families and the public) is invited. No registration required.
We hope to see you there!
