Women who have deployed internationally are being asked to take part in up to four participatory action workshops. The workshops will help develop actionable recommendations for programs and policies to better support women who deploy internationally. Participants will take an active role in guiding the research and sharing their experiences and ideas. This work builds on interviews with women about their distinct international deployment experiences and mental health impacts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Identify as a woman
- Are a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or a current or former member of a law enforcement agency
- Have served in an overseas deployment
- Are a resident of Canada
- Speak English and/or French
Please note that actively serving police officers are eligible.

- Number of contacts: 4-6 sessions
