Areas of Research
Dr. Lake has focused her clinical and research interests on assessment and intervention of neurodivergent children and youth with co-occurring mental health concerns, including how to best support and empower neurodivergent people and their families to meaningfully incorporate their lived experience into the design and delivery of evidence-based services and supports. Using a community based participatory research lens, she is also interested in studying interventions that support family caregiver wellbeing, such as Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), and the implementation of evidence-based interventions in community settings.
